Simon Perlaki – CEO, Giant Digital
Simon's role covers all the major aspects of the business and strategy as well as handling the finances.
Simon is one of the founders of Giant Digital and has taken the company from a spare bedroom in Liverpool to the City of London.
Before Giant, Simon was team leader for a web development company, producing websites and web-based solutions for a wide variety of SMEs and blue-chip clients. He also had many design orientated jobs for magazines and printing companies.
Andy Day - COO, Giant Digital
As COO, Andy is responsible for developing and maintaining our portfolio of websites, monitoring content as well as putting together our marketing strategy.
One of Giant Digital's co-owners, Andy has been with the company since it was just the music website Gigwise.com, where he started out as Editor.
Before Giant and settling down into the world of online media, Andy worked for MTV, Trinity Mirror and in the music industry.
Ben Shoesmith – Sales Manager, Giant Digital
Ben's nine years of experience within media sales in both print and online has already proved invaluable to the company.
As Online Sales Manager, he is responsible for landing the big marketing campaigns on Gigwise and Entertainmentwise. His job involves speaking to agencies and brands direct, building a database of clients and continually pitching for new business.
With his esteemed background at Future, Wilmington and Mongoose Media, Ben is now playing an integral role in making Giant a leader in hosting new brands and music campaigns.
Jason Gregory - Editor, Gigwise
Jason joined Giant Digital in early 2007 after regularly contributing to Gigwise from his former home in the Midlands. Originally working as an intern before being taken on as an Editorial Assistant, he has climbed the ranks to become Gigwise's Editor.
He is responsible for much of the editorial content on Gigwise, which includes delivering breaking music news and setting up interviews and reviews for Gigwise's extensive list of contributors around the world. He also liaises with PRs and publicists to ensure the website's output stays ahead of the competition.
As well as Gigwise, Jason also acts as a reporter on Entertainmentwise, where he writes about all the latest gossip in the world of showbiz, and works as a freelance journalist covering music, TV, celebrity and fashion for the likes of The Guardian and the Daily Mirror.
Helen Sanders – Editor, Entertainmentwise
Helen has been at the forefront of Giant Digital's renowned celebrity website Entertainmentwise since she joined the company in January 2010.
As Editor, she is responsible for the overall content on the website, including the latest gossip news, red-carpet photo galleries and fashion round-ups. She also manages Entertainmentwise's freelance contributors, who supply the hottest news from film premieres and review some of the year's must-see movies.
